From South & NYC
- GW Bridge to Palisades Parkway North. Go 18 miles to Albany Exit North.
- Take the New York State Thruway (Route 87) North to Exit 20 (mile 101)
- Go to the T at the exit and make a left. You will be on Route 212 to Woodstock
- Take Route 212 for 2.2 miles to Centerville (Fire Station on your left)
- Make a right at the V on to Route 35 (same as Blue Mountain Road)
- Go for 1.6 miles (Tammy’s Blue Mountail Deli will be on your right) and go straight (do NOT take sharp left curve) on to Route 36 (same as Harry Wells Road)
- About one-quarter mile on Harry Wells Rd, there’s a large school (Grant Morse School). The the only left (at the end of the school) on to Carelis Road.
- Carelis Road ends about one-quarter mile at a T directly facing the Reservoir and the waterfall with a small bridge on your left.
- Take a left over the bridge (this is Reservoir Road, which has no street sign) and the house is immediately on the left. It’s the only house overlooking the Saugerties Blue Mountain Reservoir. White picket fence… white farmhouse with a green roof. (Who woudda thought?)
- Welcome! You can park at the white picket fence right in front of the house.
From North
- Take the New York State Thruway (Route 87) North to Exit 20 (mile 101)
- Make a left at the T after exiting Toll Booth.
- Go 1/4 mile to the light at the Hess station. Make a right (that’s Route 212)
- Take Route 212 for 2 miles to Centerville (Fire Station on your left)
